Job summary

Arizona Tile, LLC is seeking a Purchasing & Supply Chain Specialist to support purchasing, inventory planning, and movement of materials from suppliers to our distribution centers in Arizona. This role focuses on maintaining supplier relationships, processing purchase orders, tracking shipments, and ensuring cost control for tile and slab products.

You'll collaborate with Accounts Payable, freight forwarders, and carriers to optimize logistics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in purchasing, logistics, or related areas; experience with stone/slabs is a plus.
• Strong understanding of international ocean freight, customs, drayage, and import operations.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Excel and business systems; maintain accurate purchasing and cost records.

Responsibilities

• Support purchasing, inventory planning, and movement of materials to distribution centers.
• Maintain product knowledge and pricing, lead times, and costs.
• Create purchase orders and coordinate orders with suppliers; confirm receipts and commitments.
• Track ocean and intermodal shipments from booking to delivery; manage customs and container recovery.
• Provide daily container updates and inbound forecasts to distribution centers.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, carriers, drayage providers, and brokers.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable to onboard vendors and process payments; maintain budgeting and cost records.
