Qualifications

• 4 year college degree in Supply Chain Management or relevant discipline.
• Experience and/or exposure to supply chain concepts and methodologies.
• Possess analytical and technical skills to understand business practices.
• Must have intermediate computer skills, specifically with Excel.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate suppliers by researching parts, equipment, and materials availability.
• Conduct supplier site visits and assess production capability and delivery performance.
• Purchase parts and materials via RFQs and purchase orders with approved suppliers.
• Evaluate bids and negotiate price, delivery, and quality terms; develop alternate sources.
• Monitor supplier performance and flag potential supply disruptions to stakeholders.
• Resolve shipment quality issues by mediating supplier/manufacturer discussions.
• Negotiate and settle claims and changes with suppliers; provide product information.
• Assist in continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
