Job summary

Parker Hannifin's Hydraulic & Aerospace Filtration Division is seeking a Buyer to keep production moving by sourcing materials and services essential to daily operations. You will manage assigned commodities, issue PO's, track deliveries, and resolve purchase-related issues in partnership with suppliers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree in supply chain management or a related discipline.
• Experience and/or exposure to supply chain concepts and methodologies, including manufacturing through internships or training programs.
• Possess analytical and technical skills required to understand business practices and recommend proper automation opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and recommends suppliers by researching potential suppliers and materials availability.
• Conducts supplier site visits and evaluates them for capability, performance, and delivery.
• Purchases parts, equipment, and materials by preparing RFQs and issuing purchase orders with approved suppliers.
• Evaluates bids and negotiates price, delivery, quality, and service with suppliers.
