Job summary

UFP Industries in Miami, FL is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to manage inbound and outbound purchases within the International Purchasing Department. You will work with buyers and mills to ensure accurate order processing and exceptional service, with potential direct customer contact to resolve issues and drive sales opportunities.

Responsibilities include PO creation, documentation and payables processing, order tracking, and supplier communications.

Qualifications

• Minimum Associate's degree or equivalent industry experience.
• 2+ years of experience, preferably in supply chain or procurement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word and Outlook).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• PO creation and processing of documentation and payables.
• Assists buyers in tracking and tracing of orders.
• Maintains frequent communication with suppliers to ensure efficiencies.
• Assists in developing reports and compiling market information for trades.
• Assists in processing reports, documents, and purchases promptly.
• Collaborates with sales, logistics, and purchasing across departments.
