Job summary

Körber seeks an experienced Project Manager in the United States to lead complex customer projects from handoff to delivery, coordinating engineering, software, site management and subcontractors. The role requires 8+ years of experience, a technical degree, and PM certification; international teams and matrix environments are common.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
• 8+ years of project management experience
• PM certification preferred (PMP/CAPM/IPMA/PRINCE2)
• Experience in matrix organizations and cross-functional, international teams
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Serve as the contract owner, managing obligations and risks throughout the project lifecycle
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, forecasting, and scheduling
• Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, software, site management, subcontractors) to meet deadlines and quality standards
• Monitor progress, identify risks, implement corrective actions, and manage PAC/FAC milestones
• Provide regular status updates, client escalation handling, and invoicing/supporting documentation
