Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced people leader to head program management within the Fleet Operations, Reliability and Central Engineering (FORCE) org. You will lead a multi-team program management group responsible for the tooling portfolio supporting global provisioning and 24x7 fleet operations.

You will own the multi-year IDC tooling strategy, drive OKRs, headcount, budgets, and cross-functional leadership across U.S. and international teams, leveraging AI to scale impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, systems engineering, electrical engineering, MIS, or a related field or commensurate technical experience.
• 10+ years of experience in technical or product program management, with a track record of delivering business value through technology solutions in high-tech operations.
• 4+ years of people management experience, including experience managing managers or leading a multi-team organization.
• Demonstrated ownership of a multi-year strategy or portfolio, including prioritization and trade-off decisions under resource constraint (budget/headcount/materials).
• Experience influencing and negotiating with executive cross-functional leadership across engineering and operations.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with judgment under ambiguity and pressure.
• Experience communicating portfolio status, technical trade-offs, and strategic recommendations in writing and in person to both engineering teams and executive stakeholders.
• Experience driving process re-engineering and standards adoption across multiple teams and geographies.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-team program management organization within FORCE, overseeing tooling for global provisioning and 24x7 fleet ops.
• Own hiring, onboarding, performance management, calibration, and career development across the org.
• Define team structure, charters, and role scoping as the portfolio evolves.
• Drive ownership alignment across pods and adjacent teams and set operating norms and planning cadence.
• Own multi-year tooling strategy and roadmap for data center operations tooling aligned to IDC/Infra plans.
• Manage OKRs, prioritization, and trade-offs for multiple programs; lead headcount planning and budget.
• Partner with Workforce Strategy and Finance on staffing and forecasting.
• Establish KPI framework to define tooling success and hold the org accountable.
• Ensure phase exit criteria, dependencies, and validation gates across programs; drive risk management.
• Govern rollout of new systems, change management, adoption, and stabilization post-launch.
• Represent org in IDC- and Infra-wide decision forums; negotiate scopes with peer orgs.
• Translate strategy into engineering requirements and communicate trade-offs to execs; collaborate across geographies.
