Job summary

Infinite Machine in Long Island City, NY is seeking a Production Manager to own and coordinate manufacturing execution across our electric vehicle and accessories line. This hands-on leader will oversee production planning, supplier management, purchasing, and operations to keep schedules tight, costs controlled, and quality high as we scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in production management, supply chain, manufacturing operations, or related roles.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple suppliers, stakeholders, and timelines.
• Experience working with overseas contract manufacturers and supply chains.
• Strong understanding of production planning, purchasing, supplier management, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience leading teams or coordinating external resources across different locations and time zones.
• Willingness to travel internationally to manufacturing partners.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end production planning and execution, ensuring milestones, schedules, and delivery targets are met.
• Coordinate contract manufacturers and internal teams to ensure material readiness and production schedules remain on track.
• Coordinate directly with key component sub-suppliers to keep critical spare parts and accessories in stock.
• Manage purchasing, purchase orders, supplier lead times, and production-related logistics.
• Identify and proactively resolve production bottlenecks, supplier delays, and operational risks.
• Build and manage overseas-based manufacturing support resources, establishing clear accountability and effective communication.
• Track production progress, maintain clear reporting, and elevate critical issues to leadership.
• Develop scalable production management processes and systems to support increasing manufacturing volumes.
• Partner with engineering and quality teams to coordinate technical changes, production readiness, and manufacturing improvements.
