Job summary

Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) seeks an experienced Production Control Assistant Manager to lead production planning and control activities in our state-of-the-art EV mass-production facility.

Responsibilities include developing and adjusting production plans, monitoring execution, forecasting demand, and coordinating with other departments to meet deadlines. A manufacturing/industrial engineering background and travel readiness are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering is required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products or equivalent applications.
• Advanced degree is preferred.
• Years of experience in Automotive industry strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of production processes, costs and materials for maximizing manufacturing and distribution.
• Domestic / International travel required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify production plans.
• Implement plans through monitoring and controlling the production process.
• Lead analysis of demand developments, forecasting and planning of production.
• Lead the control of progress and initiate action when necessary.
• Develop daily or weekly production schedules to meet deadlines.
• Establish mid- and long-term production plans reflecting capacity and constraints.
• Inform departments of production plan changes and update documents accordingly.
• Prepare status/performance reports and resolve production issues.
• Regularly communicate with other production departments for information sharing.
