Job summary

Lam Research Corporation is seeking a Global Product Support Engineer to be the technical backbone for field engineers and service teams in the Pacific Northwest region. You will diagnose, repair, and optimize semi-conductor equipment in the field, leading start-up, relocation, and maintenance projects with minimal downtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and debug complex electro-mechanical semiconductor equipment.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites for on-site service as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site repair and maintenance service of complex electro-mechanical systems.
• Analyze and troubleshoot technical problems to component level.
• Perform installations/start-up and relocations at customer sites.
• Diagnose equipment problems and minimize downtime through effective corrective actions.
• Maintain records and coordinate activities with supervisors and customers.
