Job summary

Lam Research Corporation in Austin, Texas, seeks a Global Product Support Engineer to provide on-site repair and maintenance of complex electro‑mechanical systems in the semiconductor portfolio.

You will diagnose, troubleshoot, install and relocate equipment, work with field engineers and customers, and travel frequently to customer sites. Excellent problem-solving skills and familiarity with schematics are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Analytical troubleshooting of technical problems to component level.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Willingness to travel frequently ( >75% ).
• Familiarity with installation/relocation services and field modifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality on-site repair and maintenance service of complex electro-mechanical systems.
• Conduct diagnostic procedures to isolate problems and minimize downtime.
• Perform complete installation/relocation start-up services.
• Maintain records and reports coordinating with supervisors and customers.
• Stay up to date on equipment/tools through training and manuals.
