Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Global Product Lifecycle Engineer to provide end-to-end ownership of electrical product life cycles for AWS data centers. You will work with the product development team to understand all facets of each product and ensure robust deployment and operation across global infrastructure.

You will lead design-for-manufacturability efforts, evaluate electrical equipment specifications, and coordinate with contract manufacturers to deliver reliable, scalable solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years developing electrical/electronics products and launching them into production.
• 5+ years with systems or components including wiring, connectors, relays, circuit breakers, switchgear and/or transformers.

Responsibilities

• Review, update, and approve equipment submittals.
• Work with global electrical equipment suppliers and manufacturers.
• Build trust and relationships with stakeholders across reliability, operations, design, and compliance.
• Work on concurrent projects in multiple geographic zones.
• Explain complex systems in clear language for diverse stakeholders.
• Support Field Engineering for root cause analysis and quality investigations.
