Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Product Lifecycle Engineer to own electrical product development and ongoing support for AWS data centers. You will collaborate with product teams to understand products through development and operation, ensuring quality and manufacturability.

You will travel about 30% globally, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to drive reliability improvements and cost efficiency in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years developing electrical and/or electronics products and launching them into production.
• 5+ years with systems or components including wiring, connectors, relays, circuit breakers, switchgear and/or transformers.
• Ability to design for manufacturability and work with contract manufacturers.
• Understanding of NEC, NFPA, UL891, UL508, ANSI C37 or IEC standards.

Responsibilities

• Review, update, and approve equipment submittals.
• Work with global electrical equipment suppliers and manufacturers.
• Build trust and relationships with stakeholders across reliability, operations, design, and compliance.
• Lead multiple concurrent projects across geographic zones.
• Explain complex systems clearly and concisely.
