Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Columbus, OH is seeking a Product Lifecycle Engineer to provide electrical infrastructure support to AWS data centers, focusing on medium voltage switchgear and transformer products.

You will collaborate with the product development team to understand product facets, then own the product through its life, and become a global SME for electrical data-center deployments. We expect hands-on design, manufacturing, and installation experience, with the ability to evaluate

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
Experience with data centers, power distribution, and electrical equipment design.
Experience commissioning electrical systems and evaluating design changes.

Responsibilities

Review, update, and approve equipment submittals.
Work with global electrical equipment suppliers and manufacturers.
Build trust and relationships with stakeholders across reliability, operations, design, and compliance.
Work on concurrent projects in multiple geographic zones.
Explain complex systems in clear language for non-experts.
Provide field engineering support for root cause analysis and operating procedures.
Lead international projects and develop engineering information packages.
