Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Global Product Lifecycle Engineer to provide electrical infrastructure support for AWS data centers. You will collaborate with product development to understand product facets and own the engineering lifecycle from development to operation.

You will be a go-to engineering resource for electrical AWS products deployed in data centers, traveling ~30% with flexibility for domestic/international assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years developing electrical/electronics products.
• 5+ years with wiring, connectors, relays, circuit breakers, switchgear and/or transformers.
• Experience bringing products to production.

Responsibilities

• Review, update, and approve equipment submittals and design changes.
• Collaborate with global electrical equipment suppliers and manufacturers.
• Provide field engineering support and root cause analysis coordination.
• Explain complex systems in clear language to stakeholders.
• Own products through their operational life and lifecycle.
