Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Global Process Engineering Authority (GPEA) to define and deploy global manufacturing standards for the Generator Value Stream, improving equipment reliability, availability, and performance. You’ll analyze data, drive cost reductions through standardization, and lead cross-functional initiatives across manufacturing, engineering, quality, and safety.

The role partners with a dotted-line network of factory technical leads, coaches teams, and champions the One Product One

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 10 years in manufacturing or quality, or a HS diploma with at least 15 years of experience.
• 5 years of generator manufacturing experience.
• Strong knowledge of engineering concepts and quality processes.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings, and schematics.
• Project Management skills and experience.
• Willing and able to travel approximately 25% globally.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate global processes for manufacturing assets, including facility integration, acceptance testing, machine health checks & calibrations, and preventive maintenance plans.
• Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new processes.
• Develop and implement reliability improvement strategies using FMEA and RCA.
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations, engineering, and safety teams to design preventive and predictive programs.
• Establish KPIs for equipment reliability and track progress against targets.
• Lead investigations into failures and root causes and implement long-term solutions.
• Provide technical support for asset management and spare parts optimization.
• Participate in design and installation of new equipment and processes with Design for Reliability principles.
