Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Global Process Engineering Authority to develop and deploy global standards for manufacturing assets and maintenance processes. The role focuses on reliability, cost reduction through standardization, and leading technology introductions across the generator value stream.

The GPEA will coach a dotted-line organization of factory technical leads and drive SQDC outcomes. The candidate will leverage lean methods and DFSS concepts to standardize processes, improve equipment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 15+ years in manufacturing/quality if no degree.
• Experience in generator manufacturing is required.
• Strong knowledge of engineering concepts and quality processes.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings and schematics.
• Project management skills and willingness to travel ~25% globally.

Responsibilities

• Define, control, and communicate global manufacturing asset processes.
• Validate design specs and shop floor applications of new processes.
• Develop reliability improvement strategies using FMEA and RCA.
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations, engineering, and safety teams on preventive/predictive programs.
• Establish KPIs for equipment reliability and track against targets.
• Lead continuous improvement to reduce downtime and improve quality.
• Lead investigations into failures and implement long-term solutions.
• Provide asset management support, life cycle analysis, and spare parts optimization.
