GE Vernova is seeking a Global Process Engineering Authority to develop and deploy global standards improving the reliability and performance of manufacturing equipment and maintenance processes. You will analyze data, lead cross-functional teams, and drive cost reductions through standardization and new technology introductions.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years industrial experience in manufacturing or quality OR a High School Diploma / GED with at least 15 years of industrial experience in manufacturing or quality
• 5 years of generator manufacturing experience
• Strong knowledge of engineering concepts and quality processes
• Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings, and schematics
• Project Management skills and experience
• Willing and able to travel approximately 25% globally

Aufgaben

• Define, control, communicate global processes for manufacturing assets, including facility integration, acceptance testing, machine health checks & calibrations, preventative maintenance plans, spare parts strategy, technical & technology training
• Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new processes. Including EHS, Manufacturing Engineers, Engineering, Quality, Materials, Industrialization, Materials, and Sourcing
• Develop and implement reliability improvement strategies using industry best practices such as FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations, engineering, and safety teams to design and implement preventive and predictive programs
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for equipment reliability, and track progress against targets
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing equipment downtime and improve quality processes
• Lead investigations into failures and chronic issues, identifying root causes and implementing long-term solutions
• Provide technical support for asset management, including equipment life cycle analysis and spare parts optimization
• Participating in the design and installation of new equipment and implementation of processes, ensuring reliability is considered from the outset (Design for Reliability)
• Requires specialized knowledge within the function. Influence the development of strategy for the area of responsibility, including control of resources and influences policy formulation
• Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work
• Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and can construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision
• Will lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view
