Job summary

ArentFox Schiff LLP seeks an associate to join its Privacy and Data Security practice at the 3rd through 5th year level in our U.S. offices. The ideal candidate will have experience with GDPR, CCPA and state privacy laws, and be skilled in drafting privacy policies, DPAs, and negotiating data protection terms. Domestic and overseas travel is expected.

The base salary range is $240,000 to $305,000 per year, with a comprehensive bonus program and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy laws.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing privacy policies, data protection agreements, and privacy provisions in contracts.
• Experience with privacy impact assessments and regulatory investigations.
• Strong academic credentials and time-management skills; ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review privacy policies and DPAs.
• Draft privacy provisions in contracts and conduct DPIAs.
• Lead privacy and security due diligence and negotiations.
• Manage incident response and regulatory inquiries.
• Support adtech privacy initiatives and AI regulatory knowledge is a plus.
