Job summary

ArentFox Schiff LLP seeks an associate in its Privacy and Data Security practice group for the 3rd through 5th year class at our offices. Ideal candidates will have experience with GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy laws, and will contribute to policy work, contract privacy provisions, and due diligence.

Strong academics and collaboration in a fast-paced environment are required. Domestic and overseas travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with international, federal, and state privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, BIPA, COPPA, FCRA, FERPA, GLBA, HIPAA, VPPA)
• Experience drafting and reviewing privacy policies and data protection agreements
• Experience in privacy/security due diligence, incident response, and regulatory investigations

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review privacy policies and DPAs
• Handle privacy and security provisions in contracts
• Conduct privacy impact assessments and due diligence
• Assist in incident response and regulatory investigations
