Job summary

ArentFox Schiff LLP is seeking an associate in its Privacy and Data Security practice group for 3rd through 5th year level. The ideal candidate will have experience with GDPR, CCPA and other privacy laws, and will handle privacy policies, data protection agreements, and due diligence in transactions.

Domestic and overseas travel is anticipated. Strong academic credentials and collaborative skills are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with international, federal, and state privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
• Experience drafting and reviewing privacy policies and data protection agreements.
• Privacy impact assessments and due diligence in transactions.
• Ability to travel domestically and overseas.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review privacy policies, data protection agreements, and privacy provisions in contracts.
• Lead privacy and security due diligence for transactions and regulatory investigations.
• Manage incident response and regulatory inquiries related to privacy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
