Job summary

Mimecast is seeking a Global Pre-Sales Engineering Operations Manager to build the operating backbone for our worldwide Sales Engineering team. You will standardize processes, KPIs, and enablement systems across regions, ensuring fast, accurate POV/POC delivery and executive-ready reporting.

You will partner with regional leaders to optimize coverage, improve demo readiness, and drive adoption of tools like Snowflake, Salesforce, Workday, Confluence, and Jira.

Qualifications

• Advanced experience leading pre-sales or Sales Engineering operations, revenue operations, or a related function.
• Proven ability to build and run KPI programs, dashboards, and performance reporting for a distributed, multi-region org.
• Strong analytical capability and hands-on proficiency with data/reporting platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Salesforce).
• Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
• Knowledge of POV/POC frameworks and demo environment operations in cybersecurity or SaaS.
• Track record of process standardization, continuous improvement, and adoption in a high-growth environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including executive-level reporting.
• Familiarity with Workday, Confluence, and Jira for goal tracking and governance.
• Cultural awareness across regions, languages, and time zones; AI tools familiarity (Claude).
• Bachelor-level degree; MBA or Lean Six Sigma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain a standardized global operating model for pre-sales, including POV/POC intake and close-out across regions.
• Identify and resolve coverage gaps, bottlenecks, and risks with regional leaders.
• Own demo readiness, scheduling, access governance, and enablement infra for products and offerings.
• Design and monitor global pre-sales KPIs with countermeasures for performance issues.
• Lead monthly operational reviews and translate trends into action and reporting.
• Collaborate with Snowflake and Sales Ops to model engagement across deal cycles.
• Roll out tooling and process improvements to boost productivity and reduce admin burden.
• Serve as liaison between Field Sales Engineering and Product/Engineering; address enablement needs.
