Mimecast North America, Inc. seeks a Global Pre‑Sales Engineering Operations Manager to build the operating backbone for 70+ Sales Engineers across regions.

You will own KPIs, reporting cadences, and enablement infrastructure, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Sales Ops to standardize processes and drive data‑driven decisions. The role emphasizes data instincts, process adoption, and cross‑regional collaboration, with a focus on POV/POC program execution and scalable tooling.

Qualifications

• Advanced experience leading pre‑sales or Sales Engineering operations.
• Ability to build KPI programs, operational dashboards, and performance reporting for a distributed, multi‑region organization.
• Strong analytical capability with data and reporting platforms such as Snowflake or Salesforce.
• Experience influencing cross‑functional stakeholders without direct authority.
• Practical knowledge of POV/POC frameworks and demo environment operations in a cybersecurity/SaaS context.
• Track record of process standardization, continuous improvement, and adoption in a high‑growth environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for executive reporting.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain a standardized global operating model for pre‑sales, including POV/POC processes across regions.
• Partner with regional leaders to identify coverage gaps, bottlenecks, and risks.
• Own and improve demo readiness, scheduling, access governance, and enablement across products.
• Design and monitor global Pre‑Sales KPIs, with countermeasures for performance slips.
• Lead monthly operational reviews translating trends into corrective actions.
• Model engagement across the deal cycle with Sales Ops to close data gaps.
• Identify tooling and process improvements to boost productivity and reduce admin burden.
• Act as liaison between Field Sales Engineering and Product/Engineering for enablement.
