Job summary

Mimecast Limited is seeking a Global Pre-Sales Engineering Operations Manager to build the operating backbone for our worldwide Sales Engineering organization. You will own KPIs, reporting cadences, demo/POC infrastructure, and enablement systems across regions, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Sales Operations to standardize processes and drive performance.

You will lead monthly reviews, translate trends into actions, and ensure consistent, data‑driven decision making.

Qualifications

Experience leading pre-sales or Sales Engineering operations.
Ability to build KPI programs and operational dashboards.
Strong analytical capability with data-driven reporting.
Influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
Knowledge of POV/POC frameworks and demo operations.
Experience in a global, multi-region environment.
Excellent executive communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

Define and maintain a standardized global operating model for pre-sales engineering across regions.
Identify and resolve coverage gaps, bottlenecks, and performance risks with regional leaders.
Own demo readiness, scheduling, access governance, and enablement infrastructure.
Lead monthly operational reviews with regional leaders and translate trends into actions.
Model Sales Engineering involvement across the deal cycle with Sales Ops to close data gaps.
Identify tooling and process improvements to increase SE productivity.
Serve as liaison between Field Sales Engineering and Product/Engineering for enablement needs.
Support certification tracking, Workday flows, headcount planning, and onboarding programs.
