Job summary

Altana seeks a founding Head of Policy & National Security to scale the Global Public Sector business globally from New York, Washington, DC, or London. You will own end-to-end growth, shape opportunities, and lead a field of sellers while coordinating with product, delivery, and executive leadership.

You will build relationships across agencies, guide strategic bids, and drive long-term programs. This role requires government-facing credibility and the ability to navigate complex procurement

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading public-sector revenue growth.
• Deep knowledge of how the public sector buys and contracts.
• Strong network across government and industry.
• Builder's instinct for standing up new programs.
• Ability to translate complex value for senior stakeholders.
• Patient and optimistic with long procurement cycles.

Responsibilities

• Own revenue growth for Policy & National Security vertical with a concrete plan and high-value targets.
• Manage a field of sellers, own pipeline and forecast for complex government opportunities.
• Build and own the PSN pipeline and forecast aligned to strategic agency bets.
• Shape opportunities by communicating Altana's value to senior government stakeholders.
• Develop relationships across agencies from operational to strategic levels.
• Own partner relationships with systems integrators, primes, and teaming partners.
• Coordinate with GPS leaders to align with company objectives across verticals.
• Forecast and surface internal needs early to support pursuit success.
• Feed government signals into product, pricing, and strategy to guide the roadmap.
