Job summary

BD, a leading global medical technology company, seeks a Platform Leadership executive to shape the portfolio strategy and drive end-to-end lifecycle management. You will own the P&L, allocate resources, and steer growth, margin expansion, and investments across regions.

You will orchestrate R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Operations, and commercial functions to deliver differentiated value, pricing strategies, and market impact while championing patient safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare or medical technology.
• Proven P&L leadership with growth, profitability and investments oversight.
• Global leadership experience across geographies and regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction and communicate a differentiated global platform strategy.
• Own full P&L and drive revenue growth, margins, and ROI.
• Lead portfolio strategy and roadmaps across the product lifecycle.
• Anticipate customer needs and enable value-based pricing and channels.
• Guide platform innovation, partnerships, and business development.
• Lead transformation and BD Excellence to improve productivity and reliability.
• Embed quality, regulatory rigor, and patient safety in strategy and execution.
• Mobilize global cross-functional leadership to translate strategy into plans.
• Represent BD externally to customers, regulators and industry forums.
