TerumoBCT is seeking a Senior Director of Strategic Platform Execution to lead a global organization that brings devices, disposables, and software to market. The role shapes roadmaps, program governance, and the strategy for delivering high-quality products across multiple sites and regulatory environments.

You will partner with Commercial and Enterprise Marketing, drive portfolio decisions, and build scalable R&D operating models to achieve market growth, cost efficiency, and robust quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of progressive engineering, with 10 years leading engineering teams.
• Minimum 5 years in medical device or regulated industry.
• Experience delivering devices, disposables, and software products.
• Experience with insourced, outsourced, and partnered development.
• FDA interactions or regulatory submissions/inspections.
• Proven leadership and succession planning.

Responsabilités

• Lead global platform execution for devices, disposables, and software.
• Own portfolio planning and advise on long-range direction.
• Partner with Commercial/Enterprise Marketing on roadmaps and value.
• Design frameworks for R&D operational excellence.
• Define build/buy/borrow criteria and governance.
• Establish portfolio management and cross-site execution.
• Lead change management and communication across global R&D.
• Define metrics and governance for performance.
• Staffing decisions and leadership development.
• Collaborate across regions to meet timelines.
• Ensure design docs meet FDA/global regs; lead quality initiatives.
• Communicate with senior management and external customers.
