Job summary

Eisai US is seeking a Sr. Global Logistics Coordinator to manage imports/exports and coordinate with CMOs for shipments to Eisai distribution locations.

Qualifications

• Associates or undergraduate degree in Logistics preferred; In lieu of degree, 10+ years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in global logistics and trade compliance required
• 5+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry highly preferred
• Import/export certification training
• Hazardous shipping experience; certification a plus
• FDA, USDA, CBP regulations and compliance proficiency
• Must have detailed knowledge of Incoterms, harmonized tariff codes, US Customs regulations
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize activities, and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Create commercial and pro forma invoices, USDA statements, pack slips, and domestic bills of lading; review import documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Review SOPs, update routing guides and create Work Instruction Documents (WID).
• Ensure US Customs, FDA, USDA, and DEA compliance and timely inventory clearance for imports/exports.
• Ensure compliance with CTPAT rules and regulations.
• Handle hazardous shipping issues.
• Oversee domestic and international transportation management.
• Monitor Eisai SAP/ERP system and distribution interface; manage receipts, inventory adjustments, shipments, and returns; resolve discrepancies.
• Audit documentation and retention; administer Distribution License renewal.
• Serve as backup in all areas when Logistics Supervisor is absent.
