Job summary
Uniphar is seeking a Logistics Specialist to coordinate the global distribution of pharmaceutical products from our Garner, NC facility. The role ensures timely, secure shipments and GDP/GMP compliance across domestic and international lanes.
You will manage cold-chain requirements, hazardous materials and controlled substances, while maintaining accurate documentation and carrier relationships. Flexible, compliant, detail‑oriented professionals are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
- Five years or more experience in shipping and distribution.
- HazMat certification and knowledge of GDP/GMP.
- Experience with 3PLs and freight forwarding.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Plan and monitor transport of controlled substances and hazmat.
- Ensure GDP and GMP compliance across shipments.
- Manage cold chain logistics and temperature excursions.
- Prepare shipping documents and regulatory records.
- Collaborate with QA, Warehouse, Procurement, & Sales.
- Monitor logistics performance and resolve delays.
