Job summary

Guerbet seeks a Trade Compliance Manager to oversee the overall trade compliance strategy for pharmaceutical imports and exports. You will act as the global subject matter expert on trade compliance within the US and other regions, ensuring alignment with company policies and regulatory standards.

Key duties include tariff classification, origin determination, ISF submissions, and audits of documentation and recordkeeping.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, international business, finance or equivalent.
• Seven+ years global trade compliance experience in pharma.
• Customs regulations knowledge including FDA, EAR, Census Trade requirements.
• Import/export classification and free trade agreement qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Determine tariff classification and country of origin for imports/exports.
• Ensure compliance with trade programs and prepare import/export documentation.
• Monitor ISF submissions and customs broker performance.
• Support daily import/export clearance and post-entry audits.
• Lead FTZ administration and annual reporting.
• Provide training on import/export requirements to teams.
