Job summary

Syndax Pharmaceuticals seeks an Associate Director, Logistics to lead and optimize pharmaceutical logistics across domestic and international supply chains, ensuring GDP/GMP compliance and the secure movement of commercial and clinical products.

The role oversees transportation, warehousing, distribution, import/export activities, and 3PL partnerships, driving cost efficiency and risk mitigation while collaborating with Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, and Finance to deliver patient-centered

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, or distribution, preferably within a regulated industry.
• Strong knowledge of GDP/GMP requirements and pharmaceutical distribution practices.
• Experience managing 3PLs, transportation providers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners.
• Experience with temperature-controlled/cold-chain logistics.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end logistics operations across domestic and international markets.
• Oversee transportation, warehousing, distribution, freight forwarding, customs, and 3PL activities.
• Monitor capacity, service levels, lead times, and logistics network performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service, resilience and cost.
• Oversee serialization-related data management and related exceptions/resolutions.
• Partner with Quality to manage temperature excursions, deviations, CAPAs and change controls.
• Ensure GDP/GMP compliance and regulatory expectations.
• Drive risk assessments and mitigation for transportation lanes and distribution networks.
• Maintain documentation, traceability, and chain-of-custody controls.
• Analyze transportation and logistics spending to identify optimization opportunities.
