Vast, a leader in next-generation space infrastructure based in Long Beach, California, is seeking a People Operations Associate to maintain HRIS data integrity, manage separations, and support international workforce operations. This role focuses on data accuracy, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration across Legal, Payroll, IT, and EHS.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in People Operations and strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Rippling and Google Sheets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in People Operations, HR Operations, or related field.
• Experience managing employee data in an HRIS; Rippling preferred.
• Experience with separations, offboarding, and workers' compensation.
• Experience with international hiring or workforce administration.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project-management skills.

Responsibilities

• HRIS Data Integrity & Change Management – ensure accuracy and approvals.
• Separations, Termination Documentation & Offboarding – manage processes.
• International Hiring & Workforce Support – processing documentation and changes.
• Process Improvement – develop SOPs and scalable processes.
• Reporting & Cross-Functional Partnership – provide metrics and insights.
