Job summary

Partner company seeks a hands-on People Operations Lead based in Australia to oversee global HR operations in a remote-first tech environment. You will own onboarding, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and employee relations across US, UK, and AU, reporting to the COO.

You will administer Rippling, manage Deel as the EOR, and drive process improvements with an AI-first mindset. Strong discretion and cross-border collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in HR or People Operations within a global org.
• Experience handling sensitive employee matters with discretion.
• Hands-on Rippling experience or similar HRIS.
• Experience managing an Employer of Record workforce (Deel preferred).
• Knowledge of Australian employment law; US/UK exposure valued.
• Familiarity with multi-country benefits and payroll coordination.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end onboarding and offboarding with Recruitment and IT.
• Administer Rippling as the primary HRIS.
• Manage global EOR workforce through Deel.
• Support employees across US, UK, and Australia.
• Coordinate benefits across regions and US enrollment.
• Collaborate with Finance to ensure timely payroll updates.
• Handle employee relations with discretion and professionalism.
• Serve as first point of contact for HR policy questions.
• Document and improve HR policies and workflows.
• Identify AI/automation opportunities to scale operations.
