Job summary

Ladders is seeking a People Operations Lead to shape and scale the people operations function in a remote environment. You will own onboarding, drive process improvements, and partner with HR and leadership to enhance data accuracy and efficiency across the employee lifecycle.

The role requires hands-on operations expertise, experience with Rippling, and a strategic mindset to align People Ops with business goals while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in People Operations or HR Operations.
• Experience managing broad People Ops responsibilities in a scaling organization.
• Hands-on experience with Rippling administration and optimization.
• Strong background in benefits administration and employee support.
• Experience coordinating immigration and work authorization processes.
• Proficient in end-to-end multi-state payroll management.
• Demonstrated ability to implement automation in People workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve the onboarding process for new hires.
• Manage offboarding and other employee lifecycle events.
• Ensure accuracy of employee data and documentation.
• Oversee HRIS data integrity and operational reporting.
• Administer day-to-day benefits and coordinate with vendors.
• Handle immigration processes and maintain confidentiality.
• Set vision and priorities for People Ops aligned with business goals.
