LHH is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join a growing organization in Fort Worth, Texas. The role focuses on accurate and timely payroll processing while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

The ideal candidate has recent experience with ADP Workforce Now and can manage US and Canadian payroll, wage garnishments, and payroll audits. Direct Hire opportunity offering $60,000-$80,000 annually.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll processing experience for exempt and non-exempt employees.
• Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and wage and hour laws.
• Experience processing overtime, taxes, and deductions.
• Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, WFM, or similar platforms.
• Advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and semi-monthly payrolls for US and Canadian employees.
• Maintain employee payroll information including hires, changes and updates.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Process wage garnishments, tax levies, and other deductions.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and inquiries.
• Perform monthly payroll reconciliations and assist with audits.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance and other departments on payroll matters.
