Range Resources Corporation is seeking a senior Payroll Specialist in the Fort Worth area to manage all payroll functions reporting to the VP of HR. The role requires deep knowledge of payroll rules, regulations, and internal systems, with cross-functional liaison duties and potential project leadership.

The position emphasizes accuracy, year-end W-2 processing, and timely vendor payments, while ensuring compliance and continuous improvement of payroll processes in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma.
• Minimum Experience: 8+ years related, relevant payroll experience; Equity-based compensation experience is a plus.
• Professional Certifications: CPP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, audit, prepare and input payroll data using ADP Workforce Payroll system; process biweekly payroll in a multi-state environment.
• Administer ADP Etime System for time and attendance; act as first point of contact for employees on entering time, vacations and leave; generate reports and audit data for accuracy.
• Process 401K contributions and deferred compensation payments; verify contributions and process transfers to plan administrators.
• Ensure timely year-end processing of W-2s and related income adjustments.
• Post stock transactions involving RSU and SAR for tax purposes; coordinate with stock administrator.
• Process quarterly voluntary deductions to United Way and Energy Independence PAC and other required taxes.
• Create and distribute custom reports to assist management.
• Oversee payroll procedures and drive process improvements; implement new systems as needed.
• Handle garnishments, tax levies and support orders.
• Stay compliant with federal, state and local laws and advise management on actions.
• Process data for internal employee transfers.
• Other duties as assigned.
