Job summary

Figma is seeking a Payroll Program Manager to scale global payroll operations across AMER and EMEA, with APAC support as needed. This IC role blends payroll expertise with program management and cross-functional partnership.

You’ll deliver payroll initiatives from planning to implementation, including vendor transitions, new-country launches, process improvements, and systems integrations to create scalable, accurate payroll globally.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in global or multi-country payroll.
• Proven experience leading payroll implementations, vendor transitions, system integrations or complex payroll programs.
• Hands‑on knowledge of payroll operations from processing through reconciliation and issue resolution.
• Experience with global payroll vendors and cross-functional stakeholders; Workday experience required.
• Excellent program management, prioritization, and execution skills in a high-growth global environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of payroll initiatives from planning through implementation.
• Partner with regional Payroll teams to define requirements and manage dependencies.
• Work with Benefits, HRIS, Accounting, People to translate business changes into payroll solutions.
• Collaborate with global payroll vendors to drive project delivery and resolve issues.
• Identify opportunities to standardize and automate payroll processes across regions.
• Support payroll operations with review, validation, and processing coverage as needed.
• Help establish scalable program management practices and visibility across the payroll portfolio.
• Leverage data, technology, automation and AI to improve payroll efficiency and controls.
