Job summary

ALO is seeking a Program Manager, International Payroll Implementation to lead end-to-end payroll projects across country launches and global transformations. You will coordinate inputs from Legal, HR, Benefits, Finance, IT, and vendors, ensuring milestones are met and go-lives succeed.

The role emphasizes governance, risk management, and stakeholder alignment. While not owning payroll configuration, you will connect workstreams, verify readiness, and drive timely decisions across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, Operations, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years leading complex, cross-functional projects or programs including global payroll implementations.
• Experience managing multi-workstream initiatives with external vendors and senior stakeholders.
• Knowledge of end-to-end payroll lifecycle and related HR data and processes.
• Experience with global payroll platforms and HRIS/HCM integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead global payroll implementations and country rollouts from planning through go-live and stabilization.
• Coordinate requirements, dependencies, and readiness across Legal, HR, Benefits, Finance, IT, Payroll, and vendors.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans with milestones, owners, risks, and dependencies.
• Align delivery plans with country rollout plans and ensure data readiness and testing milestones.
• Facilitate governance forums, drive timely decisions, and escalate blockers as needed.
• Support change management and operational readiness activities during transitions.
