Job summary

Datasite is seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee end-to-end payroll for the United States, Canada, Costa Rica, and Brazil. You will report to the Director of Shared Services Accounting and lead a small payroll team, coordinating with Accounting, HR, Treasury, Legal, and external providers.

The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and process improvements across multiple jurisdictions, with a hybrid Minneapolis-based work model and potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressively responsible payroll experience including multi-state U.S. payroll and international payroll operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or human resources (or related field).
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification required.
• Experience leading payroll professionals including global/remote teams.
• Strong knowledge of payroll accounting, taxation, reconciliations, controls, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead accurate, timely, and compliant payroll operations across the U.S., Canada, Costa Rica, and Brazil for 1,000+ employees.
• Lead and develop a payroll team of two, managing priorities and staff development.
• Oversee global payroll delivery ensuring accuracy and timeliness across multiple countries.
• Maintain payroll controls, approvals, reconciliations, and audit readiness.
• Coordinate payroll tax compliance including filings and year-end reporting.
