Job summary

Transpire Bio in Sunrise, Florida, seeks a Global Payroll Manager to lead end-to-end payroll operations for a growing global workforce across the United States, United Kingdom, and China. This on-site role supports IPO readiness and strong governance.

Will partner with Vistra and TriNet, drive compliance and controls, coordinate year-end activities, and implement payroll process improvements across payroll, benefits, and reporting for executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive payroll experience.
• Experience managing multi-state U.S. payroll.
• Experience administering international payrolls.
• Experience working with outsourced global payroll providers.
• Biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry experience preferred.
• Certifications: CPP/FPC/SHRM/HRCI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll operations for US, UK, and China.
• Ensure payrolls processed accurately and on schedule per local requirements.
• Coordinate calendars, approvals, funding, and year-end activities.
• Review payroll registers, filings, and audits prior to final approval.
• Maintain payroll policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Act as liaison with global payroll providers (Vistra, TriNet).
• Manage payroll SLAs and vendor performance.
• Coordinate implementation of new payroll processes and system enhancements.
• Resolve payroll issues with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable payroll regulations.
