Job summary

Via Transportation, Inc. seeks a Global Head of Payroll to lead payroll operations across the United States, Europe, Israel, and other markets.

You will design scalable processes, oversee compliance, vendor relationships, and payroll technology to support a growing, global workforce. You will build a high-performing payroll organization, partner with Finance, Legal, People, and Operations, and drive governance, data integrity, and timely reporting, including equity payroll.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive payroll leadership experience, multinational operations.
• Experience leading global payroll teams across multiple countries/regions.
• Strong knowledge of payroll taxes, controls, and compliance.
• Ability to scale payroll processes during growth and system changes.
• Excellent project management and stakeholder skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead global payroll operations across all countries, ensuring timely, accurate processing.
• Coach and develop a team of Payroll Managers across regions.
• Establish governance, controls, policies, and procedures for a growing workforce.
• Manage relationships with payroll providers, EORs, tax advisors, and vendors.
• Ensure data flow with People Ops and compliance with regulations globally.
• Oversee equity compensation payroll and related tax obligations.
• Drive payroll technology strategy and integrations (Workday, iiPay, P&I Loga).
• Develop dashboards and reporting on headcount, payroll spend, and taxes.
