Job summary

Rippling is seeking an experienced Global Payroll Operations Specialist to join our team and drive expansion of payroll capabilities beyond the US. You will own core operational duties across select countries, manage external partners, and help develop our natively built payroll software, influencing product and customer experiences.

The role requires cross‑functional collaboration, high data accuracy, compliance with local laws, and timely payments.

Qualifications

Minimum of 4+ years in a global payroll processing role, and 2+ years in a client-facing role.
Strong Spain payroll experience.
Experience running payroll in-house using A3Innuva software.
Bonus: experience running payroll in other EMEA countries.
Adheres to company guidelines, social security, legislations, and local taxes.
Proficient with Google Suite or Microsoft Office; familiarity with Salesforce, JIRA, Confluence.
Ability to review and validate calculations.
Understanding of payroll concepts and regulations.
Deep knowledge of leave entitlements and labor legislation.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Fluent in both Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

Execute timely payroll, filings, and payments across key countries.
Resolve issues with government agencies and partners; interface with customers.
Collaborate with Global Payroll Engineering and Product teams to support compliant, natively built payroll software.
Address product bugs and data/file generation issues promptly.
Prioritize and implement internal tooling requirements.
