Job summary

Rippling is seeking a Global Operations Supervisor for APAC to scale payroll operations worldwide. The role leads a payroll team and collaborates with cross-functional partners to deliver compliant, timely payroll across markets.

You will work closely with engineering, treasury, and external partners to ensure the native payroll software supports regulatory requirements, while expanding our payroll capabilities outside the US.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a global payroll processing role.
• 2+ years managing payroll operations personnel.
• 4+ years in a client-facing role.
• Strong APAC payroll experience across multiple countries.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll procedures and regulations.
• Experience with in-house payroll processing and via partner payroll providers.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to juggle ad-hoc projects.
• Strong English fluency and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of payroll operations specialists to deliver on-time payroll.
• Hire and train new team members for market expansion.
• Drive team performance against KPIs to meet targets.
• Monitor and report on the team’s progress to ensure requirements are met.
• Facilitate training and development to build a high-performing team.
• Develop scalable, repeatable payroll processes to reduce manual errors.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with Global Payroll Engineering and Product teams to ensure compliant payroll software.
