Job summary

Reddit is seeking an experienced Global Payroll Lead to own and scale payroll operations across US, LATAM, EMEA, and APAC. You will drive data-driven execution, SOX controls, and Workday enhancements to support a large, fast-growing workforce.

Reporting to the Sr. Global Payroll Manager, you’ll partner with Finance, Tax, Legal, and Vendors to deliver accurate, timely payroll outcomes and lead strategic initiatives in global payroll modernization.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of progressive payroll operations experience in a high-growth, tech company with a global footprint.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in payroll, accounting, finance, HR, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency with Workday Payroll (reporting, configuration, integrations) and global payroll software.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (vlookups, pivot tables) for complex data analysis and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Manage, audit, and execute multi-country payroll delivery across US and 15+ international countries.
• Lead payroll calendar and operating cadence, manage cutoffs, exceptions, and risks.
• Partner with local payroll providers to ensure regional pay schedules and processing windows.
• Serve as primary operational backup for US payroll execution.
• Oversee global equity compensation payroll and regulatory compliance across tax jurisdictions.
• Project manage country payroll audits with internal teams and external auditors.
