Job summary

Honeycomb is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead global payroll operations across US, Canada, and UK. You will report to the Controller and ensure data accuracy, timely payments, and compliance with local and international payroll regulations.

The role requires 6+ years in SaaS/startups, proficiency with Rippling and HRIS systems, and strong analytical skills. We offer equity, unlimited PTO, and a distributed-first culture.

Qualifications

• BS in Finance or Accounting or related field.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in SaaS or startup environments.
• Proficiency in Rippling is required.
• Experience with multi-subsidiaries and global payroll.
• Experience using HRIS systems and payroll processors such as Rippling, Vistra and Remote.
• Detail oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience as Payroll Manager or similar role with knowledge of payroll procedures and global tax regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, review and validate data for US payroll, Canada payroll, UK payroll and other Employer of Record payrolls.
• Process payments for final paychecks, adjustments and special pay.
• Process and approve employee expense reports in line with company policy.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and global payroll laws.
• Audit payroll tax records and lead annual audits for 401k and workers' comp.
