Job summary

Alteryx, Inc. seeks a Director of Global Payroll to lead the payroll delivery team across 15+ countries, partnering with HR, Finance, Legal, and Tech.

This role drives AI-enabled process improvements, ensuring compliance and employee-centric payroll operations while guiding transformation initiatives and ongoing automation. The candidate will report to the VP, Finance Strategy & Operations, oversee global payroll strategies, and optimize accuracy, efficiency, and controls in a dynamic,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, HR, Finance, or related field required.
• CPP designation preferred.
• 10+ years of payroll experience with 5+ years in leadership in a global company.
• Experience with global expansion, payroll setup, and M&A integrations.
• Strong knowledge of global tax, reporting, and payroll compliance.
• Experience with AI adoption and intelligent automation in payroll.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll in 15+ countries.
• Enhance automation between Workday, ADP, and benefit providers.
• Lead evaluation, adoption, and implementation of AI tools for payroll.
• Manage payroll setup for new entities and regional expansions.
• Foster innovation and standardization in the payroll team.
• Provide customer service and resolve payroll issues, using AI insights.
• Lead and develop a high-functioning global payroll team.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, HR, Finance, or a related field

Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation
