Welltower Inc. is seeking a Manager, Payroll & Benefits Accounting to lead payroll, benefits, STI, and travel & expense accounting across global operations. The role partners with Human Capital, Payroll, Finance, and IT, and plays a key role in the Workday implementation.

A strong background in GAAP, multinational payroll, and process automation is essential for scalable growth. Ideal candidate will drive standardization, control, and automation while building a dedicated payroll and benefits

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or other professional designation preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with payroll/benefits.
• Experience supporting payroll accounting in a large, multi-entity organization.
• Global or multi-country payroll accounting experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, GL, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP, payroll, or HRIS implementations; Workday preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to improve, automate, and scale accounting processes.

Mansioni

• Lead accounting and financial reporting for payroll, benefits, incentive compensation, and T&E across operations.
• Oversee payroll entries, accruals, reconciliations, and balance sheet accounts across entities.
• Partner with Payroll, HC, Finance, IT to reflect activity in GL.
• Support Workday implementation including requirements, configuration, testing, and integration.
• Identify opportunities to streamline, standardize, and automate workflows.
• Develop scalable controls and processes for global growth.
• Manage and develop payroll accounting team members.
• Coordinate with internal and external audit teams for payroll-related expenses.
