Job summary

Capital One is seeking a seasoned Industry Relations professional to lead the Global Payment Network’s engagement with payments, digital identity and emerging tech standards. You’ll influence specifications and represent Capital One at major associations with diplomacy among peers.

Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally, partner with senior leaders, and shape internal viewpoints while surfacing market developments that impact the network’s strategy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification.
• 5+ years experience in e-commerce, authentication or digital identity product development.
• Preferred BS/MS in CS, Information Security, Engineering or Business Administration.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Capital One Global Payment Network (GPN) at senior levels within industry associations.
• Contribute to development of global payment specifications and advocate for GPN’s position.
• Provide internal thought leadership by surfacing key industry developments.
• Communicate industry developments to internal stakeholders including senior leadership.
• Advocate for the Industry Relations team and identify opportunities to demonstrate value.
• Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
