Capital One’s Industry Relations team is seeking a Senior Principal Payment Industry Relations professional to lead the Global Payment Network’s engagement with EMVCo, FIDO, W3C and other associations. This role shapes standards and specifications for payments, digital identity, and emerging technologies in a collaborative, consensus-driven environment.

• 5+ years in e-commerce, authentication or digital identity product development
• Experience contributing to industry associations or working with payment networks
• Experience with standards and specifications development in payments/digital identity

Responsibilities

• Represent Capital One Global Payment Network in senior industry associations
• Influence global payment specifications and standards with diplomacy
• Provide internal thought leadership on key industry developments
• Effectively communicate industry developments to internal stakeholders
• Advocate for the Industry Relations team and demonstrate cross-organizational value
• Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally
