Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead end-to-end design for post-purchase experiences and international expansion across mobile and web. The role focuses on building trust through transparent payment management flows while contributing to a global growth strategy.

This is a remote-first role based in the UK, with an option to work from a London office. GBR base pay range is £101,000 to £149,000 per year, with benefits including health coverage and equity eligibility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product design experience or equivalent practical background.
• Strong interaction and visual design craft with high attention to detail.
• Ability to weigh user needs, business goals, and technical constraints when making design decisions.
• Ownership of ambiguous problems with minimal oversight.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and clear communication skills.
• Data-informed decisions based on research, experimentation, and analytics.
• Proficiency with modern design and collaboration tools such as Figma, G Suite, and Notion.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design for UK and international experiences, plus post-purchase flows delivered globally.
• Take ownership of complex and ambiguous problem spaces, defining problem statements, success metrics, and design direction.
• Partner closely with product, engineering, and data teams to navigate trade-offs and ship intuitive, high-quality experiences.
• Balance speed and craft through pragmatic decisions that reinforce a cohesive product experience.
• Use research, experimentation, and analytics to inform design choices and iterate toward better outcomes.
• Contribute to design systems and shared patterns that strengthen consistency and scalability.
• Mentor other designers and help elevate the quality of craft across the team.
