Job summary

Vertex Pharmaceuticals seeks a Packaging and Labeling Manager to lead end-to-end artwork development and implementation for its commercial portfolio and development-stage products. You will collaborate with Regulatory Labeling, QA, Supply Chain, MS&T, external graphics providers, and packaging sites worldwide to ensure timely, compliant artwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, or related discipline.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in pharma/biotech/regulated industry.
• Experience supporting artwork development, labeling operations, regulatory labeling, copy editing, or technical writing.

Responsibilities

• Lead artwork development activities from brief to implementation.
• Manage artwork changes using formal change control processes.
• Coordinate with Regulatory Labeling, QA, Supply Chain, MS&T and external vendors.
• Create and maintain Artwork BOMs for commercial products.
• Oversee external graphics agencies and packaging vendors to ensure timely, high-quality artwork development.
• Drive artwork implementation at manufacturing sites for supply continuity.
• Maintain version control and change-management throughout lifecycle.
• Support product launches and post-launch artwork updates globally.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and training materials.
